[ERICE/TRAPANI] Trecentocinquanta bambini degli istituti scolastici I° Circolo “Giovanni Pascoli” e “G. Mazzini” di Erice, hanno preso parte all’iniziativa “Karting in piazza” che si è svolta per due giorni in piazza Mauro Rostagno a Erice. A organizzarla è stata l’Aci Trapani che ha fatto inserire la città di Erice fra le otto in Italia dove il tour fa tappa. Martedì e mercoledì i bambini hanno potuto testare i mini kart nel circuito allestito in piazza ma hanno seguito anche le mini lezioni tenute da istruttori federali. In piazza anche la Polizia Stradale che ha illustrato sia le funzioni del Reparto che una vettura utilizzata per i controlli sulle nostre strade. Gli operatori di “Sos Valderice” hanno, invece, spiegato ai bambini il funzionamento dell’attrezzatura di rianimazione a bordo di un’ambulanza. Ieri ha fatto visita al “Karting in piazza” anche il Prefetto di Trapani, Tommaso Ricciardi, accolto dal Presidente dell’Aci Trapani, Giovanni Pellegrino, dalla direttrice Carmela Ricciardi e dal vice sindaco di Erice, Gian Rosario Simonte. «Laddove c’è il coinvolgimento dei giovani, ogni iniziativa è lodevole» ha ribadito il Prefetto di Trapani.
