Il Sindaco Alberto Di Girolamo: “Il comodato precede l’inaugurazione ormai prossima”
Giornata storica per Marsala e per l’Amministrazione della Giustizia, come ha tenuto a sottolineare ieri durante la firma del comodato d’uso la Presidente del Tribunale Alessandra Camassa. Nell’ufficio del Sindaco Alberto Di Girolamo anche l’Assessore Clara Ruggieri, il cancelliere Giuseppe Ferro, presenti alla sottoscrizione del comodato d’uso fra il Presidente del Tribunale in rappresentanza del Ministero di Giustizia e Luigi Palmeri, dirigente dell’ufficio Patrimonio del Comune di Marsala con il vice segretario Nicola Fiocca (notaio rogante). Il contratto di comodato d’uso dell’immobile di via del Fante viene concesso per la durata di 99 anni al Ministero di competenza per essere adibito a nuovo Palazzo di Giustizia dove campeggiano le foto di Paolo Borsellino e Giovanni Falcone.
Visibilmente soddisfatta ma anche emozionata la Presidente del Tribunale, Alessandra Camassa: “finalmente ci siamo. Era un traguardo che aspettavamo da tempo. Entriamo in possesso di questa nuova struttura moderna e funzionale che inaugureremo, ufficialmente, il prossimo 9 ottobre”.
E su tale linea anche il Sindaco Alberto di Girolamo.
“Affidiamo il Nuovo Palazzo di Giustizia, con la piena consapevolezza che questo edificio consentirà a magistrati, avvocati e amministrativi di lavorare in condizioni ottimali”.
Il nuovo Palazzo di Giustizia, la cui costruzione fu iniziata nel 2007, sorge sull’ex area dello stabilimento Mirabella e si snoda su una superficie coperta di quasi 13 mila metri quadrati, suddivisi in due corpi di fabbrica. Tribunale e Procura sono attigui ma con ingressi separati.
