TRAPANI. CONTINUA L’ATTIVITA’ ANTIDROGA DEI CARABINIERI: ANCORA UN ARRESTO

Prosegue senza sosta l’attività di contrasto allo spaccio di sostanze stupefacenti ad opera dei Carabinieri della Compagnia di Trapani che, nella serata di ieri, 9 febbraio 2020, hanno tratto in arresto MANGIACOTTI Gabriele Pio, cl.88, gravato da precedenti di polizia.

Nello specifico, i Carabinieri della Stazione di Erice, che già da alcuni giorni sono impegnati in una intensa attività di perquisizione con finalità antidroga, soprattutto nei pressi di luoghi di aggregazione giovanile e nei punti nevralgici della città, hanno notato l’arrestato che, con fare sospetto, si aggirava in prossimità del Porto di Trapani.

Nel corso del controllo, i militari operanti hanno rinvenuto un involucro in cellophane, abilmente nascosto tra gli indumenti del Mangiacotti, contenente oltre 10 grammi di cocaina in un unico pezzo, indice della purezza della stessa.

La sostanza stupefacente è stata immediatamente posta sotto sequestro e sarà trasmessa per le successive analisi di laboratorio mentre il Mangiacotti, al termine delle formalità di rito, è stato dichiarato in arresto.

Nel corso del giudizio direttissimo che si è tenuto nella mattinata odierna, l’Autorità Giudiziaria, oltre ha convalidare l’arresto operato dai Carabinieri, ha sottoposto il Mangiacotti alla misura cautelare personale dell’obbligo di dimora.

Tale arresto, così come quelli effettuati negli ultimi giorni, sono il frutto di costanti controlli eseguiti dai militari della Compagnia di Trapani che implementano ulteriormente la capillare presenza dell’Arma sul territorio ed il contrasto ai reati connessi con il commercio degli stupefacenti.
