TRAPANI :Continuano i lavori di rifacimento dei marciapiedi e delle strade del territorio.

Da qualche giorno, in coordinazione con il Comune di Erice, hanno preso avvio i lavori di rifacimento e riqualificazione dei marciapiedi di via Marconi. La riqualificazione in chiave inclusiva ha già condotto all’abbattimento di numerose barriere architettoniche ed alla creazione di numerosi scivoli per disabili, che potranno così passeggiare liberamente in quella strada, cosi come in tutte quelle che in futuro verranno interessate da lavori di manutenzione stradale . Prossimamente, verranno abbattute anche le barriere architettoniche del lungomare Dante Alighieri, nel tratto che conduce dalla Piazza Mercato del Pesce a Piazza Vittorio. L’assessore safina, tiene a precisare che l’abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche costituisce un elemento qualificante di tutti i lavori che vedranno avvio nel 2020 e come l’ufficio, su sua disposizione, abbia avviato uno studio per l’installazione di percorsi tattili per ipovedenti, a partire dalla via Fardella. Il Sindaco Tranchida , ben consapevole dei gravosi ritardi ereditati al riguardo , in merito all’abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche, ha manifestato il chiaro intendimento di continuare nell’incessante lavoro di eliminazione, considerando ciò uno degli elementi qualificanti il programma di governo, perché i cambiamenti devono essere inclusivi. Trapani che vogliamo deve diventare la città di tutti i trapanesi.
